Military Connected 服务

Western offers a variety of services to support you on the path to your degree. Whether you are a veteran, active service member, a survivor or dependent of a deceased or disabled veteran, we have resources to help you succeed.

We are honored to provide veterans 和/or service members with priority enrollment one day ahead of others of the same enrollment status.

For benefits to be processed, every student using VA benefits must complete the Certification 请求 Survey every term.

Effective for terms starting on or after 12/17/21, Post-9/11 GI Bill® students who receive Monthly 住房 Allowance (MHA) 和/or kicker payments are required to verify their enrollment to continue receiving their payments. 访问 the VA's Enrollment Verification website to learn more about this requirement, including how to verify enrollment easily 和 securely via text message.

If you’re new to Western or coming back to the college before the term has started, here is helpful checklist for veterans, 军事, 和家属.

  1. 检查se planning tool sites
  1. Make an appointment with Western’s Veteran Military Center (VMC) by calling 608-785-9436.
  2. 完成 college 招生过程 
  3. 在 required documents to the VMC

  • Certificate of 资格 (COE) for your Federal VA Education Benefit (if you have already applied 和 been awarded)
  • 请求 军事 transcripts to be sent to Veteran Military Center

  4. After enrollment, complete the Enrolled Student Check List below
  5. Make an appointment with Access 和 Language 服务 if you need to make a request for accommodations.
